Klint Kubiak Expected to Finalize Deal With Saints Following Super Bowl
Sunday's Super Bowl will officially wrap up the 2023 NFL season. It's been another eventful one, but only one will reign supreme between the Chiefs and 49ers. According to multiple reports on Sunday morning, the Saints are expected to finalize a new deal with San Francisco passing game coordinator Klint Kubiak to become their new offensive coordinator.
Needless to say, he'll be coaching his final game and will then take on his new role in New Orleans. He'll be tasked with essentially building out a brand new offensive staff, with Clancy Barone (tight ends) and a handful of assistants being the only holdovers right now.
A Cynical Prediction Of Super Bowl LVIII
Kubiak will turn 37 in just several days and had a successful year with the 49ers prior to his time with the Broncos and Vikings. Andrew Janocko has been linked to the new quarterbacks coach and others have been rumored to join him like John Benton on the offensive line. We'll see soon enough, and we would expect Kubiak to be at the NFL Scouting Combine in two weeks.
