Saints Players, Coaches Hit With 'Illness Bug' | Week 8
There is a developing story with the New Orleans Saints ahead of their game against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.
Update: Saturday, Oct 28 at 6 PM CT: WR Michael Thomas is also ill, per John Hendrix.
Columnist Jeff Duncan posted, "Several Saints players and coaches have been waylaid pretty hard by a bug that's running through the team facility this week, among them, head coach Dennis Allen." The team did not specify the illness and which coaches were affected.
Earlier this week, starting quarterback Derek Carr, running back Alvin Kamara, and tight end Jimmy Graham were mentioned to be hit with the illness. However, Kamara and Graham were not on Friday's injury report. On the "Final Injury Report for Week 8" from John Hendrix, the illnesses of guard Max Garcia and safety Marcus Maye have them as questionable for Sunday.
The Saints News Network will have more information on players and coaches affected by illness.
