New Orleans has been fairly busy with moves on Monday, restructuring the contracts of Cam Jordan and Alvin Kamara to get under the salary cap ahead of the new league year. Exact details of the move are unknown, but there was more than $13 million of Lattimore's base salary that could convert to a signing bonus. He's currently under contract through 2026.
The Saints are in a good spot at the cornerback position with Lattimore, Paulson Adebo, Alontae Taylor and Bradley Roby. Depth is critical for the secondary after last season, as New Orleans barely got to have their starting lineup that we anticipated during training camp.
