Can D.K. Play? Seattle Seahawks' Metcalf is Week 7 'Game-Time Decision' Due to Injury
Seattle Seahawks star wideout D.K. Metcalf has generally found a way to be a full-time contributor this year despite battling a nagging injury issue here and there. And our general feeling, as we review the team's injury report and medical issues leading up to Sunday and NFL Week 7 against the Arizona Cardinals is that D.K. will find a way.
But head coach Pete Carroll is saying officially that Metcalf will be a "game-time decision'' because of a hip injury.
"He's pretty sore still," Carroll said. "He's still working at it. It's gonna be a game-decision."
The Seahawks are fortunate to have depth at the position, and it can be argued that given the fact they are playing the lowly 1-5 Cardinals, they may have some extra room for caution this week as well.
But again, officially, Metcalf is listed as "questionable'' after he injured his hip during last Sunday's 17-13 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. Before that, Metcalf was playing through a rib injury.

Metcalf collected a series of rest and rehab days this week, as didn't practice on Wednesday or Thursday before appearing on the practice field on Friday.
Take away Metcalf and you take away a force who has played in five games this season, totaling 22 receptions for 337 yards and two touchdowns. AllSeahawks.com at SI will keep you posted.
