FINAL: Seattle Seahawks Defeat Arizona Cardinals 20-10
Following their 17-13 loss to the Cincinnatti Bengals last Sunday, the Seattle Seahawks will look to recapture their winning ways as they host their NFC West rival Arizona Cardinals inside Lumen Field on Sunday.
Both teams are coming off losses, and the Seahawks will want to make sure they don't fall to .500. The Cardinals are seemingly fighting for their season with a 1-5 record while currently being on a three-game losing streak. The latest of the three losses came via the Los Angeles Rams, who delivered a 26-9 beatdown inside SoFi Stadium in Week 6.
So far, aside from their Week 3 win over the Dallas Cowboys, the season has unfolded as many would've expected for the Cardinals. While quarterback Joshua Dobbs has had his moments as the starter in place of the injured Kyler Murray, who is 10 months out from his torn ACL, he led an offense that struggled to get points on the board versus the Rams.
The Cardinals managed to gain 345 total yards against the Rams, which was just 37 fewer than L.A. had. However, Arizona was derailed by two turnovers, which doesn't include the two turnovers on downs and being forced to settle for field goals deep in the redzone.
The Seahawks, on the other hand, just had a three-game winning streak broken on th road last Sunday at the hands of the Bengals in a game that could be best described as uncharacteristic.
Not only were the Seahawks held to just one touchdown versus the Bengals, but quarterback Geno Smith, who had been rather efficient with the football in his hands, threw two costly interceptions to add to an offensive performance where they struggled to capitalize in the redzone with points, just like the Cardinals.
However, while the records may not necessarily reflect it, the Seahawks and Cardinals are polar opposites. The Cardinals seem to be heading into a rebuild just six games into a season where they haven't had their starting quarterback. In contrast, the Seahawks, despite two disappointing losses, are still in the fight for the division and are just a game behind the San Francisco 49ers.
First Quarter
The Seahawks are able to force a punt after a six-play drive from the Cardinals. Arizona picked up a first down as Dobbs completed a pass for eight yards before scrambled for the final two yards to move the chains. However, on the second third down, the Seahawks got off the field
Change of Possession
The Seahawks' first drive also ends in a punt after eight plays after Smith's pass to Dallas went for no gain on third-down.
Change of Possession
The Cardinals' drive lasted just three plays, as a five-yard completion for five yards was the only positive play of the drive.
Change of Possession
After the first drive ended in a punt, the Seahawks offense didn't take long in their second drive before finding the endzone. Smith found Lockett for an eight-yard gain on first down before Kenneth Walker rushed for 25 yards, then a 28-yard passing touchdown to Jaxon Smith-Njigba capped off the quick scoring drive.

A third-down completion to Smith-Njigba for 10 yards ended up being the biggest play of the drive for the Seahawks before they were forced to punt on the next set of downs. Smith was also picked off on the next third-down as the ball bounced off the hands of Cardinals linebacker Kyzir White before the Seahawks were forced to punt.
Change of Possession
The Cardinals' drive lasted seven plays and spanned 60 yards as Arizona relied heavily upon running back Emari Demercado, who rushed for 23 yards on three rushes before Dobbs's pass was intercepted by Devon Witherspoon in the endzone. However, after a series of penalties, including two on the Seahawks, including a roughing of the passer on Boye Mafe, the interception was negated before Dobbs found his way into the endzone on a 25-yard touchdown run.

Change of Possession
A long 12-play drive for the Cardinals sees them end up empty-handed as Boye Mafe sacked Dobbs on third-and-12. Instead of kicking a potential 62-yard field goal on fourth down, the Cardinals wanted to go for it. However, a false start penalty backed them up even further. Dobbs' hail mary attempt fell incomplete.

Change of Possession
The Seahawks suffered their first three-and-out of the game after a four-yard run from Walker on first-down was followed up by a sack and an incomplete pass.
Change of Possession
The Cardinals' nine-play drive ended with a failed fake punt as backup quarterback Clayton Tune did find a completion for four yards, but it wasn't enough to move the sticks.
Change of Possession
The Seahawks managed to get three points on a potential put-away drive thanks to a 48-yard field goal from Jason Myers.
FIELD GOAL SEAHAWKS
Seahawks 20, Cardinals 10
Change of Possession
Following a 21-yard pass to Browns two sacks proved enough to stop the Cardinals drive and force a turnover on downs.
