The Seattle Seahawks are in for a tough test as they hit the road to face the Baltimore Ravens inside M&T Bank Stadium.
In this story:

With the Seattle Seahawks' cross-country trip taking them from the west to the east coast, they are set for one of their biggest tests of the season to date as they take on the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday.

The two teams come in hot, as the Seahawks and Ravens both hold three-game winning streaks.

However, the separator between the two is just one win, as the Ravens boast a 6-2 record, which has them tied for the second-best in the NFL, only trailing the Philadelphia Eagles.

After a string of slow starts, which saw the Ravens' new offense under coordinator Todd Monken struggle in the early goings, they have found their rhythm in the past two weeks. The Ravens dominated the Detroit Lions in their Week 7 matchup, scoring a season-high 38 points, as Lamar Jackson showed off his arm.

The one-time league MVP completed 21 of his 27 passes for 357 yards and three touchdowns while adding another 36 yards and a score with his legs in the 38-6 wins over the Lions, who, as the Seahawks know, were considered one of the hottest teams in the league.

The Lions aren't the only common opponent between these two teams, though, as the Ravens' latest win came against the Arizona Cardinals. Unlike the week prior, it was the Ravens' ground game that led them to victory as running back Gus Edwards rushed for 80 yards and three touchdowns on 19 carries in the 31-24 win.

The Seahawks also managed a close 24-20 win against the Cleveland Browns in a game where Seattle was in control early. However, a second-half stall from the Seahawks' offense saw the Browns take a 20-17 lead into the fourth quarter.

From there, the Seattle passing game regained its rhythm on the final drive as Smith fired three straight completions to Lockett, Metcalf, and Noah Fant, resulting in a total gain of 43 yards. Then, following an incompletion and too many men on the field penalty on the Browns, Smith found the rookie, Smith-Njigba, for the game-winning nine-yard touchdown pass.

The Seahawks will be looking to keep their win streak alive as they face the Ravens. Kickoff inside M&T Bank Stadium is scheduled for 10 a.m. PT.

First Quarter

The Seahawks opened the game with two straight Kenneth Walker runs, which yielded six yards before a third-down pass to Jaxon Smith-Njigba was bobbled as he went out of bounds, forcing a quick three-and-out punt.

Change of Possession

The Raven picked up an early first down with a play-action pass to Mark Andrews for a gain of 13 yards on the first play. However, on the second set of downs, a false start penalty helped the Seahawks' defense get off the field as Jackson fired two straight incompletions.

Change of Possession

The Seahawks avoided a second three-and-out as Smith found Lockett for an 18-yard completion on third-down. However, the new set of downs was the end of the drive for Seattle as Smith's next third-down pass was batted down at the line of scrimmage.

After a 39-yard punt from Michael Dickson pinned the Ravens inside the five-yard line, the Seahawks' defense was able to force a three-and-out.

The Ravens got the ground game going as rookie back Keaton Mitchell had five carries for 40 yards before Gus Edwards finished the drive with a three-yard touchdown run.

Seattle had a potential stop on the first set of downs as a pass to Mark Andrews was held a yard short the sticks, however, the Raven drew an offsides penalty on fourth-down to move the chains. Then another Andrews reception was held short of the chains before the Ravens converted on fourth-down with a quarterback run from Jackson.

A second-down sack later helped the Seahawks hold the Ravens to another field goal.
