Seattle Seahawks wideout D.K. Metcalf is one of the most well-respected and most feared receivers in the NFL today. His size and speed make him a near-impossible matchup for most defenses.

As one of the league's best, he's certainly going to have an opinion about those who came before him, and who he considers to be the best ever.

Metcalf appeared on the All Things Covered podcast and was asked who he thought were the best five receivers the game has ever seen - and he had no hesitation with his answer: 1. Antonio Brown, 2. Randy Moss, 3. Terrell Owens, 4. Jerry Rice, and 5. Julio Jones.

What? Jerry Rice is fourth on his list? Of course, the question is subjective, and everyone is free to have any opinion they'd like to have, but for someone in the game who plays the same position as Rice to rank him at No. 4 seems jarring.

When Rice retired, he owned 38 NFL records, and some of the most important ones still stand today. His records of 22,895 receiving yards, 1,549 catches, and 197 touchdown passes are still the most ever today, and not by a little bit. He also holds postseason and Super Bowl records in those same categories. Rice also recorded 14 1,000-yard seasons in his career - also still a record.

Metcalf, of course, can put whoever he wants on his list, but when he places Rice as low as No. 4, he has to expect a bit of pushback. The bottom line is, will Metcalf himself place on that list when it's all said and done? Seahawks fans hope so.
