Seahawks Trade No. 83 to Broncos, Passing on Adebawore

The Seattle Seahawks' day is done as they traded their third-round pick to the Denver Broncos.
In this story:

The Seattle Seahawks will not make a pick at No. 83 as they have traded it to the Denver Broncos. In exchange, the Seahawks will receive the No. 108 pick and a 2024 third-round pick, as the Broncos used their newly acquired pick to select cornerback Riley Moss out of Iowa.

The trade will now see the Seahawks have until Day 3 before making their next selection after a busy first-round, where they landed cornerback Devon Witherspoon with the No. 5 pick before drafting Jaxon Smith-Njigba, the wide receiver out of Ohio State with the No. 20 pick. Derick Hall, the edge rusher out of Auburn, and running back Zach Charbonnet as the two Day 2 picks for Seattle.

As for what the Broncos acquired in Moss, SI Draft Bible said he is a "really smart cornerback who lacks the traits to be a starter in the NFL." According to Draft Bible's fourth-round grade, the Broncos may have reached a little to pick Moss.

The Seahawks made the deal that will give them more draft capital and won't see them potentially add to the defensive line. After passing on Jalen Carter at No. 5, Seattle could've drafted Adetomiwa Adebawore out of Northwestern, who has fallen since garnering some first-round attention.

The Seahawks will be on the clock again with the No. 108 pick in the fourth round.
