Seahawks Have 'Positive Vibes' as Season Looms

The Seattle Seahawks have won both preseason games, and Good Morning Football's Jason McCourty thinks there is a good vibe in Seattle right now.

The Seattle Seahawks have had one of the better offseasons in recent team memory ... and the good vibes are flowing.

After having two picks in the first round of the draft that yielded Devon Witherspoon (No. 5) and Jaxon Smith-Njigba (No. 20), the Seahawks added talent to a roster that was already a playoff team last season.

Now, after winning both preseason games, there is a nice feeling in the air. Good Morning Football's Jason McCourty was asked which team he has positive vibes for thus far and his answer? Seattle.

“The Seattle Seahawks, positive vibes, their coach is in practice throwing dimes as well, Jaxon Smith-Njigba looked good,” McCourty said on Good Morning Football. “I’m going with the Seattle Seahawks. [They] got an interception in the game and the entire sideline was celebrating, those my friends are positive vibes.”

The Seahawks first dealt with the Minnesota Vikings, 24-13, and then the Dallas Cowboys, 22-14, with several fringe players like Jake Bobo playing some good football and thrusting themselves into calculations to make the final 53-man roster.

Unfortunately, the good vibes have been dampened a bit since Smith-Njigba needs to have surgery on his wrist. He is now in a race against time to be fit for the season opener against the Los Angeles Rams.

But can that be a letdown as the regular season gets closer? Possibly, but with the team humming right now despite it only being preseason and head coach Pete Carroll dropping dimes in practice, things are looking up for Seattle right now.
