Seahawks vs. Packers Preseason Finale: How to Watch, Betting Odds

The Seattle Seahawks take on the Green Bay Packers in the preseason finale for both teams in anticipation of the Aug. 29 roster cut-down deadline.
In this story:

The Seattle Seahawks head east to Green Bay to finish the exhibition season against the Packers on Saturday at Lambeau Field. It's the final tune-up for each team before the Aug. 29 roster cuts in preparation for the regular season.

Packers quarterback Jordan Love and the rest of the starting offense will all play on Saturday, as will the team's starting defense.

“Yeah, they’re going to play,” coach Matt LaFleur said before Thursday’s practice, confirming the suggested plan he revealed earlier in the week.

This continues the trend Green Bay started in Week 1 of the preseason. As for how much time the starters will see against Seattle, LaFleur was non-committal.

“It’s going to be more of a gut feeling, I would say, on my part, where we’re at," he said. "I do think there’s a lot of value in getting ready for a noon kickoff."

It's unlikely the Seahawks will have many, if any starters on the field on Saturday. However, a decision has not been announced by the Seattle coaching staff.
