Seattle Seahawks WATCH: Noah Fant's Huge Catch Leads To Kenneth Walker TD vs. Giants
The Seattle Seahawks find themselves on the road for their Week 4 matchup against the struggling New York Giants.
The game started off bittersweet for the Seahawks, as they had accumulated a bit of a lead in the first half but had seen a couple of key players go down with injuries. One of those key players to go down with an injury was starting quarterback Geno Smith, who appeared to injure his leg while being tackled by the sideline. He returned to start the third quarter.
This forced the Seahawks to turn to backup quarterback Drew Lock, who didn't miss a beat despite not expecting to play this game.
On his first drive of the game, Lock was able to utilize his mobility and create some plays with his legs and his big arm. However, it was a short pass to Noah Fant that broke this game open for Seattle. Fant ended up taking the short pass 51 yards for what was originally called a touchdown but was later overturned, ruling him down at the one.
The next play saw Lock hand it off to Kenneth Walker who powered in the score to push the Seahawks' lead to 14-3.
The touchdown for Walker makes up for his previous touchdown earlier in the half that was eventually called back.
The Seahawks will look to put the Giants away in the second half after what has been their best start offensively of the season, and also escape the game with no more injuries and hopefully for the sake of Pete Carroll's blood pressure, no more penalties.
