Lamar Jackson Contract Saga Takes Wild Turn

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has a new face trying to negotiate for him.

PITTSBURGH -- Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is currently the center of the NFL conversation as he looks for a new team, or an extension with his current. But for right now, he remains under the non-exclusive franchise tag, and there has only been reports of teams not pursing him, none saying teams will.

So, one patron is taking it into his own hands to try and change that - even though he's not allowed. In a wild twist to the Jackson story, the NFL has sent out a memo saying an uncertified NFLPA agent is attempting to contact teams and persuade them into negotiating with Jackson.

The uncertified person is Kenroy Francis, who, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, is from Florida and was last known for pitching a home fitness invention.

He's not attempting to negotiate $200 million deals.

Clubs have been informed they are not allowed to have any conversation with Francis regarding Jackson or the offer sheet will be pulled.

Jackson's first response was that Francis never negotiated for him. However, things got crazier when, just moments later, Jackson released a commercial for a home fitness company he is partnering in with Francis.

From all of us here at All Steelers, we did not see that one coming.
