Steelers Will Still Draft Jordan Addison

The Pittsburgh Steelers sent a message with their Pro Day decisions, but it wasn't the one people thought it was.
In this story:

PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers decided against one Pro Day and went to another. It opened questions, but what if it's not the telling tale many believe it is?

The Steelers have a system, and that system has never changed. Sometimes, they change things up, but overall, it's almost always a matter of efficiency over everything - and this time around, attending certain Pro Days over others was a matter of just that.

The Steelers don't give away all their draft secrets with their scouting. Kenny Pickett was the only quarterback not taken to dinner last year. JuJu Smith-Schuster never had a member of the Pittsburgh coaching staff attending his Pro Day. Still, both were high on the team's draft board.

This year, that player didn't get Mike Tomlin or Omar Khan watching his final scouting performance. But by no means does that eliminate anyone from being drafted by the Steelers.
