Ravens Sign Patriots WR Nelson Agholor

The Baltimore Ravens just made life a bit more challenging for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers secondary just got a new challenge as the Baltimore Ravens sign wide receiver Nelson Agholor, according to The Score's Jordan Schultz.

Agholor comes to Baltimore after spending the last two years in New England with the Patriots. He started 20 games for the Pats, catching 68 passes for 835 yards and five touchdowns.

He's now signing a one-year deal worth up to $6.25 million with the Ravens.

Agholor will be 30 years old at the start of the season but still possesses plenty of deep threat capability for the Ravens. As the team tries to work things out with quarterback Lamar Jackson, they're adding weapons to help grow the offense in hopes of working out a contract extension.

As for the Steelers, Patrick Peterson and Levi Wallace will have a new player to deal with, but the uncertainty at quarterback leaves questions to how dangerous Baltimore's offense will be in 2023.
