J.J. Watt, Mike Tomlin Set Up Steelers Visit

The Pittsburgh Steelers have a star headed to town.
In this story:

PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers and J.J. Watt share a love for each other, and the retired All-Pro is headed to the South Side (at some point) to visit head coach Mike Tomlin and the team.

It all started when Tomlin mentioned Watt and his brother T.J. during a video explaining why the Steelers have a fascination with brothers. Watt saw the video, replied to Tomlin, telling him how much admired him as a coach, and said he'd love to visit the team's facility.

Tomlin, of course, said yes. And at some point, possibly this season, the oldest Watt may finally be walking through UPMC Rooney Sports Complex.

Even with Steelers fans pushing for Watt to join the team for years, he's never made it as far as he will in retirement. Pittsburgh was able to add the second Watt brother in Derek, but never got too deep - or really even touched the surface - of negotiating with Watt.

Maybe while he's there, the Steelers will toss out how they're looking for an edge rusher. Or, if coming off the edge is a little much for the 34-year-old, he can bounce inside and let DeMarvin Leal move to the edge.

Either way, I'm sure Pittsburgh could make it work.

But if time at the facility doesn't have him itching to put on the black and gold, it'll still be nice for fans to see the Watt brothers hanging out in Pittsburgh.
