Kelce Brothers Choose Steelers Over Ravens
PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers versus Baltimore Ravens matchup will forever be historic, but after two wins in the 2023 season, the black and gold walked away with a third victory, this time on one of the biggest sports podcast in the world.
New Heights' hosts Travis and Jason Kelce were holding a pretty important debate on their latest episode - which teams have the best uniforms and names. And in a battle between the Steelers and Ravens, Pittsburgh came out on top.
"I just like the Steelers better," Travis Kelce said. "Art Rooney originally founded the team as the Pittsburgh Pirates but, without much success, wanted to rename the team. And then decided to go with Steelers because of the old Rust Belt and the Steelers’ heritage with the steel mills."
The Steelers uniforms are always considered a classic, and with the history the Rooney family brings, it's hard to lose a battle when it comes to the legacy of the team.
Some fans could consider this a 3-0 year against the Ravens, and yes, maybe those same fans are having a tough time choosing between the Chiefs and Ravens this weekend, but at least they can bring this fun fact up at their Conference Championship party.
