Lamar Jackson Hints He's Returning to Ravens This Season

The Pittsburgh Steelers may have a new duo to face on the Baltimore Ravens.

PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers watched as the Baltimore Ravens added free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. on a one-year deal, adding a Super Bowl-winning weapon to their offensive arsenal in 2023.

Now, they're wondering who his quarterback will be. And Lamar Jackson may have let us know with a quick post on Twitter.

Right now, the Jackson saga has a lot of unknowns to it. The latest update was from the quarterback himself, who made his trade request from the team public, asking to be moved to an organization that will negotiate a contract he believes is fair.

Meanwhile, Baltimore has openly said they will consider a first-round quarterback in the NFL Draft due to the uncertainty with Jackson. The Ravens pick 22nd but have brought in Florida QB Anthony Richardson for a pre-draft visit.

Richardson is expected to go in the top five.

The quick FaceTime screenshot by Jackson does leave you wondering if he now plans to return, though.

According to The Score's Jordan Schultz, Jackson and Beckham Jr. have had a few discussions about winning together in Baltimore. That appears to have support from the two players involved after Jackson's post. And unless the two were talking about how badly Jackson wants out, you'd have to think they were pretty excited about potentially teaming up this season.

If Jackson is not traded, he will have to play under the non-exclusive franchise tag, paying him $32 million this season.

He hasn't seemed happy about that possibility, and some believed the possibility of him sitting out the season was real. With OBJ's signing, you have to wonder if things are changing, and maybe Jackson could be back to compete against the Steelers and the rest of the AFC North for the division title.
