PITTSBURGH -- The NFL has officially announced the time and date for the Pittsburgh Steelers' Week 15 game with the Indianapolis Colts.

The Steelers will travel to Indianapolis on Dec. 16, squaring off with their AFC opponent for a 4:30 p.m. ET Saturday showdown. NFL Network will air the broadcast.

The matchup could be a pivotal game in deciding the AFC playoff picture, as both the Steelers and Colts are currently placed for wildcard spots. If the season ended today, Pittsburgh would be the 5th seed, with Indianapolis being the 7th.

Both Pittsburgh and Indy can still claim their respective divisions as well, with the Steelers being a game back from the Baltimore Ravens and the Colts being two games behind the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Minnesota Vikings and Cincinnati Bengals will meet before the Pittsburgh-Indianapolis showdown, kicking off at 1 p.m. ET. The Denver Broncos and Detroit Lions will matchup for the primetime game at 8:15 p.m. ET.
