Steelers RB Alfonzo Graham Out for Season
PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Steelers running back Alfonzo Graham has announced he’ll miss the 2023 season with a torn labrum he suffered in training camp.
Graham went down with a shoulder injury during the opening week of camp and was seen walking around in a sling afterward. He then posted on social media that he has a torn labrum and will not return this season.
“When you come out of a storm you won’t be the same person you walked in …Suffered a Torn labrum in my shoulder I promise the Comeback will be Amazing The talent I have is amazing God just wasn’t ready for the world see yet See y’all in 2024,” he wrote.
Graham is an undrafted rookie who was competing with Anthony McFarland, Darius Hagans and Jason Huntley for the third running back spot on the Steelers 53-man roster.
The Steelers are now looking into former Miami Dolphins practice squad back ZaQuandre White to replace Graham. They currently have an open roster spot after the retirement of Monte Pottebaum.
