PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers are getting their All-Pro safety back. According to fellow teammate Damontae Kazee, the team is preparing to have Minkah Fitzpatrick on the field in Week 13 against the Arizona Cardinals, marking his return from a hamstring injury.

Fitzpatrick has missed the Steelers' last four games after suffering the injury. He was not placed on Injured Reserve, leaving the door open for a return each week. But up until this point, the safety hasn't even practiced. That being said, the expectation is that he's coming back.

"Shoot, we know Minkah comes back this week,” Kazee told Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's Brian Batko. "A lot of us ain’t gonna be playing in those spots."

The Steelers have operated with Trenton Thompson starting alongside Kazee the last two weeks. After Keanu Neal was placed on IR with a rib injury, the team went to the practice squad to find depth, and have worked with Kazee, Thompson and Miles Killebrew as their only available safeties.

With Fitzpatrick back, the Steelers could begin utilizing three-safety sets with Fitzpatrick, Kazee and Thompson. But just having their All-Pro playmaker back on the field should provide a boost for the defense as they head into the final stretch of the regular season.
