PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Steelers are set to conduct their third offensive coordinator interview this week, bringing in former Atlanta Falcons head coach Arthur Smith, sources tell All Steelers.

Pittsburgh brought in Carolina Panthers OC Thomas Brown and Houston Texans quarterbacks coach Jerrod Johnson throughout the week, and will now interview the former Falcons head coach. The Steelers have also requested to interview former Los Angeles Rams quarterbacks coach Zac Robinson, who was recently hired by the Atlanta Falcons for their OC position.

Smith, 41, spent the last three seasons with the Falcons before being relieved this offseason. Prior to Atlanta, he worked his way from quality control coach to offensive coordinator with the Tennessee Titans, spending 10 seasons with the team from 2011 to 2020.

He spent time as the offensive line coach (2013), assistant tight ends coach (2014-2015), tight ends coach (2016-2018) and eventually OC (2019-2020).

The Steelers are expected to continue their offensive coordinator search moving into next week. Head coach Mike Tomlin, general manage Omar Khan and team president Art Rooney will likely head to Mobile, Alabama for the Senior Bowl, where they'll prepare to speak with more candidates.
