Steelers RB Jaylen Warren Gifts Game Jersey to Mom

The Pittsburgh Steelers running back made sure to keep his 100-yard game jersey.

PITTSBURGH -- Jaylen Warren had a pretty great Week 10 for the Pittsburgh Steelers. The second-year pro was announced as the team's starter - along with Najee Harris - for the first time at Acrisure Stadium. And to make his debut even better, he compiled his first 100-yard performance in the NFL.

Warren finished with 15 rushes for 101 yards and a touchdown in the Steelers' win over the Green Bay Packers. Afterward, he told reporters that he was thinking about keeping his jersey but had to decide if he wanted to spend the money to buy it.

According to former Steelers guard Kevin Dotson, a game jersey is $1,500.

Well, Warren decided it was worth the money. The running back told All Steelers he did keep his jersey and gifted it to his mom after the game.

"Absolutely not," Warren said when asked if he expected to see the success he's had this early in his career. "I don't usually expect nothing or envision anything. I put my best foot forward and whatever happens, happens."

Warren's role in the Steelers should continue to grow, and his 100-yard performances will hopefully be a constant for Pittsburgh's offense moving forward.
