J.J. Watt Jokes Brothers Are Reason He Joined CBS Sports

Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt is going to love his brother's pregame shows.

PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh Steelers fans will get their weekly dose of J.J. Watt this football season, but it won't be on the field. The All-Pro defender announced he's joining CBS Sports as an NFL analyst and will begin appearing on "The NFL Today" pregame show. 

Watt talked about his excitement to join the crew during his announcement and also how happy he is to have a "global platform to make fun of my brothers on." 

No surprise if you've ever caught the Watt brothers interacting on social media. 

Many around the league are still carrying the slight hope Watt joins the Steelers on the field. At some point, he's expected to head to the Steelers' facility to spend a day with Mike Tomlin and the team, but more as a learning opportunity to see how the head coach operates. 

He recently named his price for a return to the league during an appearance on the Green Light Podcast, and while Pittsburgh should never shy away from signing a future Hall of Famer, his going rate of $20 million for one game isn't going to work with the team's salary cap situation. 

So, for now, Steelers fans will get their weekend dose of Watt on television before kickoff.
