PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers will be without three players in Week 17 when they take on the Seattle Seahawks. The team announced safety Minkah Fitzpatrick, inside linebacker Elandon Roberts and defensive back Trenton Thompson will not play due to injuries.

Fitzpatrick will miss his second game due to a knee injury he suffered against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 15. He was expected to return to practice this week with a chance to return but was unable to take the field throughout the week.

Thompson has been dealing with a neck injury and was able to practice throughout the week, but appeared to suffer a setback on the final day of preparation and was ruled out.

Roberts was ruled out at the beginning of the week due to a pectoral injury he suffered last weekend. When asked if he could return during the regular season, he said, "Don't count me out."

Pittsburgh will hand the green dot to Myles Jack, who will make his second appearance from the practice squad for the Steelers this season. Mykal Walker, Blake Martinez and Mark Robinson will work next to him.

Kenny Pickett will head into the weekend listed as questionable after missing the last three games. After being limited in practice throughout the week, he’ll have an opportunity to be active on game day. However, Mason Rudolph will start against the Seahawks.
