The Pittsburgh Steelers got a Hall of Famer visitor to start the week.

PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers got a high-profile visitor as they began their Week 2 preparation for the Cleveland Browns. As they open their second week of the regular season, Hall of Fame wide receiver Terrell Owens was in the building.

It's unknown why Owens is in Pittsburgh or why he's visiting the Steelers. Chances are it's for media to use for his podcast, Get Your Popcorn Ready, or to help some of the younger players like George Pickens and Calvin Austin.

The Steelers will be without their leading receiver and veteran presence in Diontae Johnson due to a hamstring injury he suffered in Week 1. Right now, reports claim the team expects him to miss "multiple weeks" because of a hamstring ailment.

Without Johnson, Pickens and Austin will need to step up in a big way for the offense and quarterback Kenny Pickett. Pickens finished his rookie season with 52 receptions for 801 yards and four touchdowns, but Austin missed the entire season due to a foot injury.

Owens pushed to return to the NFL for years, but at 49 years old, the Steelers aren't considering a signing. It's likely they could be utilizing his ability to teach and mentor younger players, if they did invite him to the facility this week.
