Commanders Sign Steelers OT Trent Scott

The Pittsburgh Steelers will now search for a swing tackle.
In this story:

PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers will lose their swing tackle from last season as Trent Scott has signed with the Washington Commanders, the team announced.

Scott appeared in eight games for the Steelers last season as their swing tackle. Since his first game in 2018 for the Los Angeles Chargers, Scott has played 61 games, including 21 starts for LA, Pittsburgh and the Carolina Panthers.

Without Scott, the Steelers are left without a swing tackle on offense. Pittsburgh has just Chuks Okorafor and Dan Moore Jr. on their roster.

They are spending time scouting NFL Draft options, taking Dawand Jones and Paris Johnson out to dinner before Ohio State's Pro Day. They've also invited Jones in for a top-30 visit. Other first-round options like Peter Skoronski and Darnell Wright met with Pittsburgh at the NFL Combine.
