NFL Sends Steelers Strong Message

It's time for the Pittsburgh Steelers to listen.
In this story:

PITTSBURGH -- Hopefully, the Pittsburgh Steelers were listening because, over the weekend, the NFL sent a very strong message to the 7-6 playoff hopefuls. And if they do follow it, they might have a shot to keep their season alive.

While the Steelers were sitting at home trying to dissect back-to-back losses to losing football teams, the rest of the NFL was playing games. Pittsburgh snuck their way back into the AFC playoff picture, but that wasn't the message the league was sending.

What teams were saying to the Steelers was to watch because not every quarterback situation needs to be as cut-and-dry as Pittsburgh tries to make it.

Everyone watched Joe Flacco, Jake Browning and even Zach Wilson light up the scoreboards this weekend on the way to victories. It's not always as simple as it appears on the stat sheet afterward, but the Steelers got a direct message from those three quarterbacks about how they should handle the rest of their season.
