Super Bowl Champ Shoots Shot With Steelers

The Pittsburgh Steelers have an option to add another member to their coaching staff.
In this story:

PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers likely aren't moving on from Matt Canada during the bye week, but according to reports, another name has tossed his hat in the ring to help with the offense this season.

Byron Leftwich's name was brought up almost daily during the offseason as an option for the Steelers to bring in as a consultant. Much like Brian Flores did a year ago, the Steelers could have added him to the roster to help with play-calling and design as he looked to regain some ground amongst offensive coordinators in the league.

The former Super Bowl champion is now looking to do just that, but the Steelers aren't listening.

Maybe they should talk to Leftwich about a job. However, maybe it's best if they just work with what they have, move on from who they need to and start fresh. If they add another name during the season, it could lead to more years of struggles rather than a fix as soon as possible.
