Would Steelers Bench Kenny Pickett?

The Pittsburgh Steelers have a big decision to make on offense.

PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback situation is starting to catch fire. After several tough performances by Kenny Pickett, and the team's latest loss to the Cleveland Browns, the question has been asked by the masses - would the Steelers really bench their quarterback?

The simple answer is yes. Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin has been loyal to a fault over the years, with the most recent example being his determination to make Matt Canada work as the team's offensive coordinator.

But he's also made some significant changes that make you believe this team is open to trying to find the best formula to win. Those moves seemed small due to the constant state of the fanbase asking for them to happen before they actually did, but the changes were big - and helpful.

Pittsburgh might not have the confidence in their quarterback depth to make the move, and no one should expect Tomlin to walk up to the podium and say Pickett will be benched. But if his struggles continue, don't rule out a change.

So, yes, the Steelers would bench Kenny Pickett.
