With "The Game" between the Ohio State Buckeyes and Michigan Wolverines on Saturday holding as high of stakes as ever, Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud and NFL legend Tom Brady took the opportunity to make a friendly "bet."

On his Let's Go podcast, Brady, a Michigan alum, made a fantasy wager (if one can even call it that) with Stroud, a rookie out of Ohio State. Brady, the former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback, jokingly put one of his seven Super Bowl rings on the line if Ohio State won. If Michigan won, though, Brady wanted to enjoy the career that Stroud has ahead of him.

"If Ohio State wins, you get one of my Super Bowl rings," Brady said jokingly. "And if Michigan beats Ohio State, then you got to give me all your youth, your agility, your time in the 40-yard dash and all your future years in the NFL."

After a remarkably close game that went down to the wire, the Wolverines held on for a 30-24 victory to win their third straight in the rivalry. Following the win, Brady took the opportunity to take a friendly jab at Stroud over the "bet."

"Smart move not taking the bet @CJ7STROUD," Brady wrote on X, formerly Twitter. "At least you keep the rocket arm and 4.4 40 time."

While Stroud, who returned to Ohio State as a guest picker on College Gameday earlier this season, surely would've loved to see his Buckeye turn the rivalry around, he can take solace in the fact that he's currently enjoying one of the best rookie seasons in NFL history. The No. 2 overall pick is a runaway favorite for Offensive Rookie of the Year, and has even worked his way into the MVP conversation with his outstanding play.

Texans vs. Jaguars Preview: Is the AFC South Houston's To Lose?

The Texans have benefitted greatly from Stroud's addition, as they've transformed from a bottom-feeder the last three years to a team in the thick of the playoff race. Sunday's home game against the Jacksonville Jaguars holds immense weight, as the Texans can take the lead in the AFC South with a victory.
