The Houston Texans and New York Jets are battling the elements in New Jersey on Sunday afternoon, and they are also fighting in a defensive slugfest as the two teams are locked in a scoreless tie at halftime.

The Texans have only mustered 63 yards of total offense in the first half amidst the inclement weather, and rookie sensation C.J. Stroud has 28 passing yards on just six completions. The Jets, by comparison, have put up 100 yards of total offense behind quarterback Zach Wilson, putting up 3.7 yards per play.

On the bright side for both offenses, neither team has turned the football over, but with six drives apiece on both sides, each drive has ended with a punt in the first half.

The lone strong point for the Texans offensively has been running back Devin Singletary with 64 rushing yards on 11 carries, good for 5.8 yards per carry in the rain at the Meadowlands.

Defensively for the Texans, Christian Harris leads the team with five total tackles, three of which have been solo. Jonathan Greenard and Sheldon Rankins each have accounted for half of a sack, and Denzel Perryman has one tackle for loss through two quarters of play.
