Ex Cowboys WR Noah Brown 'Excited' for Texans 'Creative' Bobby Slowik Offense

Looking for a new start in Houston, Noah Brown discussed what he's looking forward to with his new team.
In this story:

It has definitely been a busy offseason so far for the Houston Texans, who enter 2023 looking to finally get out of their rebuild. While the Texans haul in the draft will make a definite difference, one free-agent signing has gone slightly under the radar.

The addition in question is receiver Noah Brown, who the Texans signed to a one-year deal. Brown is coming off a career yea and is looking forward to taking another step forward in 2023

“I think I’ve taken advantage of every one of those steps, last year being another one,” Brown said. “I think I have a chance to expand on that again this year.”

In 2022 with the Dallas Cowboys set career highs across the board, including starting in 13 games. He was targeted 74 times, hauling in 43 receptions for 555 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Now, Brown enters his sixth season looking to be a reliable weapon for rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud. Making matters easier will be offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik, whose offense he's excited to work in.

“I’m really excited about the offense. I think we have a real creative coordinator," Brown said. "I think we have a lot of talented pieces, some of which are a little bit unknown in this league. Which I think is going to work to our advantage. I’m excited to be a part of this offense.”
