The injuries have piled up for the Houston Texans, and they will reportedly be without two key playmakers for the next week or two as a result.

According to reports from KPRC2 in Houston, Texans linebacker Blake Cashman and defensive back Tavierre Thomas are expected to miss one-to-two weeks with injuries they sustained on Sunday against the New York Jets. Both players are dealing with hamstring injuries following the Week 14 loss.

It was also reported on Thursday that the Texans will likely be without defender Will Anderson (ankle) this week against the Tennessee Titans.

Other injuries for the Texans this week include quarterback C.J. Stroud, who is in concussion protocol, and wide receiver Nico Collins (calf strain). Neither player has participated in practice this week, and Houston head coach DeMeco Ryans discussed Stroud's improvement earlier this week.

"C.J. is getting a little bit better," Ryans said. "We will see how the week goes, but he is still in concussion protocol."

The Texans are currently on the outside looking in when it comes to the AFC playoff picture, and Sunday's lackluster loss to the Jets did them no favors moving forward. Still, Houston has an opportunity to continue its impressive season and reach the playoffs, especially if it is able to accumulate some wins in the final four weeks of the regular season, injuries aside.

REPORT: Will Anderson 'Likely' to Miss Week 15

In the current playoff landscape, the Texans come in at No. 8 in the AFC, the first team out of the postseason if the campaign ended today.

Houston is scheduled to travel to Nashville to face the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, one of two meetings against them over the next three weeks. Kickoff is set for 12 p.m. CT, and the game will be televised on CBS.
