Latest Draft Buzz for Titans Heading into Round 1

The Tennessee Titans have been one of the most-mentioned teams in the NFL today as the draft rumors hit a crescendo before kickoff tonight. Here is the latest buzz surrounding the Titans that includes a potential trade up and an electric wide receiver as a possibility.

NASHVILLE — The Tennessee Titans near the kickoff of the 2023 NFL draft and they have been in the news throughout Thursday. Rumors and discussion of the Titans being on the move up the board for a quarterback have been the primary reason for their continued presence in draft coverage. We have also seen some connections to Boston College wide receiver Zay Flowers as well. Here is the latest buzz on the Titans and their plan tonight.

Last night we got the report from Dianna Russini that strongly hinted at the Titans' interest in a quarterback. We wake up this morning to a report about the Titans trading up with the Arizona Cardinals and that the Houston Texans are planning to pass on a quarterback.

Then, from Dianna Russini once again, we get some confirmation on the other side of a Titans-Cardinals trade.

I’m told the Arizona Cardinals are currently mulling trade offers from multiple teams interested in moving to No. 3 overall.

So, a read of what has happened. Feels like the league got word the Titans were trying to make a move and then the Cardinals let it be known there were multiple suitors to try to juice their return in a trade. Reality is, it could be a ploy to get the Titans to bid against themselves or it could be true. Well, then of course we have the third option of all of it being a big lie including the Titans' interest.

As the day went on, we got even more rumors connecting the Titans to the Cardinals.

I guess the Titans really do have competition.

However, Jeremiah also put out his final mock draft and had the Titans taking Boston College wide receiver Zay Flowers with their original eleventh pick. There was a rumor that the Titans told Flowers to "get used to Nashville" going around, but hard to know if that is credible or not, but combined with Jeremiah's pick, maybe it is real.

We are just a few hours from the start of the NFL draft and no matter if any or none of these rumors are true, we are due for some fireworks.
