NASHVILLE-  Paris Johnson Jr. is one of the top players in the entire NFL Draft class of 2023 and will likely be selected in the top half of round one come April 27.

Johnson Jr. has long been associated with the Tennessee Titans in mock drafts, as the Titans currently hold the No.11 overall selection and could be in the market for a left tackle.

Standing 6'6" and weighing in at the combine at 313 lbs, Johnson Jr. has all the measurables teams look for in a left tackle, including, and perhaps one of his biggest strengths are his 36 1/8″ arms.

Along with those measurables, Johnso Jr. possesses incredible athleticism for someone of his size, including having posted 29 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press and a 9'2" broad jump at the combine.

Appearing on the podcast of former Titans left tackle Taylor Lewan and linebacker Will Compton's Bussing With The Boys, Johnson Jr. was asked about the top teams he hoped would select him in the draft.

“For me personally, I feel like the first thing I look at is taxes,” Johnson Jr. said. “So, state taxes are big. It would be cool if I was a Titan. I feel like that would be cool. There’s no state taxes there, [it’s] warm. I would say realistically who needs a tackle, I would say Chicago, I would also say the Falcons. To be in Atlanta too would be huge.”

Compton shared Johnson Jr's. comments in this video through his Twitter account.

One of the biggest selling points for the Titans with free agents has always been the lack of a Tennessee state income tax, something that is not lost on Johnson Jr., who's obviously done his homework on potential landing spots for him.

What the Titans will do in the coming draft and where Johnson Jr. will land remain to be seen, but from his comments, it seems the left tackle would feel right at home if his name is called by the Titans later this month.
