KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Several hundred thousand football fans descended on Kansas City for the 2023 NFL Draft on Thursday, and between all the Patrick Mahomes jerseys there were a few Tennessee Titans fans, too.

The first round of the draft takes place on Thursday, with the second and third rounds on Friday and rounds four through seven on Saturday. It's a heck of a party.

''It's my birthday weekend and I'm a Titans fan living in Kansas City, so this was a no-brainer for us to do this together, said Chase Cashion, who is attending the draft with his two brothers, Colby and Carsen. ''We're excited about what the Titans might do, and Carson goes to the University of Florida now, so he's excited to see what happens with (Florida quarterback) Anthony Richardson, too. We're going to have a lot of fun.''

Joey Dunbar is a truck driver from Nashville and he was able to mix work with play and get to the draft at the same time. He and his wife Cassara attended the event, along with their uncle Johnny McClendon, who's a Chiefs fan living in Kansas City. Dunbar was dressed to the nines in Titans gear, including gloves.

"We love the Titans, and it's great to be here,'' Dunbar said. "I'm working out here, so the timing was perfect. It's great to be here.''

Rick Mooberry is a big Titans fan even though he lives in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. With the draft so close for the first time, he wasn't about to miss this. Brandon Dalecky, his friend from Cedar Rapids, is a Dallas Cowboys fan.

''It's not that far of a drive from Iowa, so we had to do this,'' Mooberry said. "How many times do you get a chance to do this? It's awesome, and it'll be a fun night.''

Several other teams were well represented as well. Here are some other photos from around the NFL stage.
