NASHVILLE - According to a source close to the Arizona Cardinals, the Tennessee Titans and Indianapolis Colts are two of the teams showing interest in a potential trade with Arizona for the No.3 overall pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.

A Monday morning report indicated that as many as six teams are currently investigating their options to move up in a deal with the Cardinals potentially.

While we don't know the details of any possible discussions, there is one interesting aspect of what we do know.

The Colts, who currently hold the No.4 position, reportedly are interested in moving up one spot at the minimal possible cost to guarantee they stay ahead of other quarterback-needed teams who might be interested in jumping them in line.

Meanwhile, the Titans are in a potentially good place regardless of whether they make this deal. Should the price becomes too steep for general manager Ran Carthon's liking, he could still potentially impact the final sale price for the Colts with any previous offers he or the other teams reportedly involved here might make.

As always in the NFL, and the draft in particular, there are many moving parts, and a final outcome might not be known until the Cardinals are on the clock in round one for the trade to be announced.

In the end, and now with a bidding war likely underway, I'm growing increasingly convinced that the Titans will not make this move up, but as everyone should know, never say never, especially when it comes to deals in the NFL Draft.
