NASHVILLE - Rumors have swirled around the Tennessee Titans in recent weeks, including one that stated the Titans had "shopped" Henry to teams around the league. However, there were never any details to confirm it as anything other than a rumor.

Early Saturday morning, former NFL player Akbar Gbaja-Biamila tweeted that Derrick Henry was "headed" to Philadelphia. While no further details were given, speculation immediately began as to the validity of this information.

It turns out that Gbaja-Biamila and Henry are represented by CAA (Creative Artist Agency) though not by the same agent, as the firm represents the former NFLer for public speaking opportunities. In contrast, Henry is represented by their active player division.

While CAA represents Henry as an active player, Gbaja-Biamila is represented by them for public speaking opportunities, which according to the information All Titans has obtained, appear to be handled by different agency divisions.

John McMullen, who covers the Eagles for SINow, and multiple other outlets, had this to say about the Eagles rumors.

As if that's not enough, according to a league source, the Dallas Cowboys are again rumored to be actively interested in a deal that would send Henry to Dallas in exchange for a yet-to-be-determined compensation package.

Pro Football Network's Trey Wingo said on Football Insiders, "I've heard the Cowboys [are] potentially interested, but it would have to be at their price, not Derrick Henry's price.''

Tony Pollard, who will be returning from a season-ending ankle injury that required surgery, is the Cowboys lead back after the release of Ezekiel Elliott earlier this off-season, so adding another back seems a wise move.

Mike Fisher of Sports Illustrated/Fan Nation's Cowboys Country shared this in an article late Saturday afternoon.

"For the record, with the help of one of our Philly experts who describes that as being "the least-Eagles-y thing ever,'' we can tell you that as we write this, Henry to the Eagles is not a done deal. And also not done: The "Derrick to Dallas'' speculation."

With just five days remaining until the start of the 2023 NFL Draft, the Henry rumors are likely to continue to intensify.

While there are no specific details, and both these stories remain rumors, it is worth keeping a watchful eye around the league because, as the old saying goes, where there's smoke, there's fire. There's a lot of smoke right now, and it's not coming off the bottom of Henry's cleats as he runs past defenders down the field.

NOTE: All Titans spoke with multiple sources for this story, including those in Dallas and Philadelphia, and will continue to monitor this for future developments.
