NASHVILLE - According to a report from WKYC television in Cleveland, the Tennessee Titans have signed a former All-American defensive back from a Cleveland area university.

Anthony Kendall of Baldwin Wallace University was scheduled to try out with Cleveland and the New York Jets before signing with the Titans.

Described as a speedster, Kendall's (5-foot-10, 180 pounds)  athletic numbers are impressive, with a 4.44 forty time, 7.01 three-cone drill, 4.35 short shuttle, 39 1/2 inch vertical, and 11-foot-1 broad jump, and 20 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press.

A native of Port Richey, Fla., Kendall earned second-team Associated Press  All-American honors and second-team honors with D3football.com and the American Football Coaches Association.

For his career, Kendall competed in 31 games, posting 127 tackles, 20 pass breakups, and six interceptions, which earned him an invite to the NFL Combine in Indianapolis.
