Top 3 Titans on Offense That "Must Produce" in 2023

NASHVILLE — The Tennessee Titans are revamping their roster in a big way in 2023, so there are a lot of new faces. Especially, on offense. While the Titans will need contributions from most of the new guys, it is the players who have been on the team the longest that must produce if they hope to have a winning season.
One word of note here. Obviously, if a team wants to win at the highest level everyone needs to chip in and each individual players must produce for the sake of their own career. The reality is, not every player on every good offense plays well all the time. You rely more on certain players than others.
Ryan Tannehill, Quarterback
First things first, Ryan Tannehill is not elite. He isn't in the class of the Patrick Mahomeses and the Joe Burrows of the world, but the best version of Tannehill is still a very good quarterback. He is more reliant on his supporting cast than some of the top passers in the NFL, but on his own is still a very talented player.
Tannehill will need to be his best in 2023 if the Titans want to win games. Make no mistake, the cast around Tannehill last year was awful, but there were times when Tannehill didn't get the job done with time and a receiver open. Again, he is not elite. With a potentially improved cast, Tannehill will need to get back to his best version for the Titans to have a successful year.
Derrick Henry, Running Back
I don't know if this needs to be explained, but Henry is the focal point for which the entire offense, and maybe team, is centered on. Henry's presence alone has the ability to impact the way defenses play and game plan. Henry may be a year older, but the Titans can't afford for him to slow down.
Henry went over 1,500 yards last year and set career highs in the receiving department. He clearly still has some left in the tank and with the Titans receiving group looking as poor as any in the league, Henry will certainly need to do more to carry this group. As Henry ages, more support for him makes the most sense. Sadly, the Titans have done the opposite.
Treylon Burks, Wide Receiver
Simply put, Burks is all the Titans have. The only wide receiver that makes a defense even consider thinking twice is Burks. He will have to be close to superhuman for the Titans to be a solid offense this year. Burks will need to take a major step, but if he doesn't produce up to the level a first-round receiver should, the Titans are in deep trouble.
