On this week's episode of the SI Tennis Beyond the Baseline Podcast, Sports Illustrated executive editor and host Jon Wertheim talks with Alison Riske.

Currently ranked No. 41 on the WTA Tour, Riske joins the podcast during the start of her offseason to talk about her 2016 season, which saw her make the finals at three WTA tournaments. An American player from Pittsburgh, Penn., Riske discusses life on tour, how she started playing tennis, her thoughts on her 2016 season and her goals for the upcoming year. Wertheim and Riske also talk about Pittsburgh, where Riske will be getting married to fiancé Stephen Amritraj in June 2018. Riske also discusses her relationship with longtime coach, Yves Boulais, and how he has taught her several lessons both on and off the court and helped her to find success in her career. Riske and Wertheim also talk about Angelique Kerber, her father's position in the U.S. Secret Service and more.
