Beyond the Baseline Podcast: Eugenie Bouchard talks offseason, Instagram, more

On this week's episode of the SI Tennis Beyond the Baseline Podcast, SI.com producer Jamie Lisanti fills in for Sports Illustrated executive editor and regular host Jon Wertheim to talk with Eugenie Bouchard in New York City. 

In the midst of her offseason, Bouchard joins Lisanti on an out-of-studio podcast from a hotel in midtown Manhattan. Currently ranked No. 51 on the WTA Tour, Bouchard discusses her 2016 season, grades herself in comparison to previous years and talks about how she has settled into her game since her breakout season in 2014. Bouchard also talks about her offseason training and goals heading into the 2017 season, which she will start in Brisbane in January. Lisanti and Bouchard also talk about her family and siblings, how she deals with pressure and expectation and her previous struggles with weight loss and stress. Bouchard also talks about entrepreneurship, her interest in Instagram and Snapchat, her interest in fashion, if she draws inspiration from other players on tour and more.
