With the Seattle Storm now two games back of the Las Vegas Aces at the top of the WNBA playoff race, the Storm will host the Las Vegas Aces at Climate Pledge Arena on Sunday afternoon.

The matchup will see two playoff-bound teams square off as the second-place Aces look to snap a two-game losing streak in Seattle. Las Vegas is currently one-and-a-half games back of the first-place Chicago Sky at 22-10 this season. Seattle, on the other hand, is three-and-a-half games back of the Sky with a 20-12 record and a 13-4 mark at Climate Pledge Arena this season.

Behind a season-high 33 points for Breanna Stewart, the Storm cruised to an 89-77 victory over the Minnesota Lynx on Wednesday night. Stewart also added eight rebounds and five assists, while Jewell Lloyd helped Stewart with 17 points. Seattle finished the game 11-of-25 from three-point range, with Stewart hitting four threes and Sue Bird hitting three three-pointers.

As for the Aces, Las Vegas fell in the final seconds to the Dallas Wings by a final score of 82-80. Kelsey Plum sank a three-pointer and Chelsea Gray made a jumper from the free-throw line to tie the game at 80 in the closing seconds. However, Dallas’s Teaira McGowan’s go-ahead layup was the game-winner for the Wings.
