Arizona takes on Northern California on Wednesday in the Western Region elimination game.

The west region will be down to two teams on Wednesday after Northern California and Arizona play in an elimination game. This will be the second meeting between the two teams with Northern California looking to win for the second time. The team from California shut out Arizona in the first game of the tournament 5-0 and will be looking to do it again on Wednesday. Arizona, though, will be looking to exact some revenge and earn a trip the region championship game on Friday against Hawaii.

Arizona dropped that first game to Northern California but bounced back on Sunday to get a close 7-6 win against Southern California. Arizona trailed 6-4 heading into the bottom of the fifth, but got two runs in that inning and then another in the sixth for a walk-off win.

Northern California got the big win in the first game but was completely blown out by Hawaii in its second game 13-3. It had the game tied at three going into the bottom of the fifth, but Hawaii went on to score 10 runs to win the game by run rule. 

Wednesday, it will look to bounce back and get a big win against Arizona.
