It's a rainy Tuesday in Tuscaloosa but that doesn't dampen our spirits on "The Joe Gaither Show on BamaCentral"!

Let's kick off the program by celebrating Alabama's latest two victories on the recruiting trail. The Tide secured wide receiver Amari Jefferson on Saturday, and flipped safety Peyton Woodyard on Tuesday. 

We read in between the lines for both prospects, giving the listeners insight on how the decisions were made as well as discussing what kind of player each prospect is.

Alabama football enters its second week of fall camp and offensive lineman Tyler Booker was at the podium on Monday. Booker talked a big game, echoing a lot of the same phrases and intentions that JC Latham espoused at SEC Media Days. 

Will new offensive coordinator Tommy Rees allow the offensive line to have its way this season and establish its will throughout the games?

Finally we pivot to conference realignment and the future of college athletics. Nick Saban and Missouri head coach Eli Drinkwitz each had similar sentiments when asked about the subject. Gaither discusses the hypocrisy that's deeply rooted in college athletics as it relates to the transfer portal and colleges changing conferences to chase television dollars.
