Recruiting Rundown: Hosting the Hogs for Homecoming
It's homecoming week for the University of Alabama. What better time to show off the campus, the pageantry and the tradition of the university?
Alabama's football program is hosting a number of visitors this weekend but only three targets are in the 2024 class.
The only football prospect visiting Tuscaloosa in an official capacity is 4-star linebacker Cayden Jones. Jones has been committed to to Alabama since April of this year.
Several other Alabama commits will be on campus this weekend, specifically Jaylen Mbakwe, Caleb Odom, Jeremiah Beaman, Williams Sanders, Sterling Dixon, Jay Lindsey and 2025 commit Ryan Williams.

According to Andrew Bone of On3Sports the Tide will host three 2024 prospects on unofficial visits.

- Aidan Bryant - Unranked Offensive Lineman - Greenville Christian School - Greenville, Miss.
- Jaxon Shuttlesworth - Unranked Tight End - Chelsea High School, Chelsea, Ala.

- Caleb Cunningham - 5-star WR, Choctaw County High School, Ackerman, Miss.
- Micael Igbinoghene - 4-star ATH, Hewitt-Trussville High School, Trussville, Ala.
- Edward Coleman -3-star WR, Calvary Day School, Savannah, Ga.
- Hollis Davidson - Unranked Tight End, McIntosh High School, Peachtree City, Ga.
2026 Visitors
- Colton Yarbrough - 4-star EDGE - Durant High School, Durant, Okla.
- James Morrow - DL - Buford High School, Buford Ga.
Checking Out The Capstone
- Alabama basketball is hosting Darrion Reid this weekend in Tuscaloosa. The 5-star forward out of Prolific Prep is considered a strong Alabama lean. He recently announced a top-three of Alabama, Georgia and Florida State.
- Jase Richardson is announcing his college decision on Sunday. The 4-star guard out of Miami, Fla. is strongly considering Alabama and could become the Tide's second commit in the 2024 class.
- Asa Newell is reportedly narrowing down his recruitment. The 5-star forward out of Montverde, Fla. is apparently down to Georgia and Alabama for his college services.
