Over a week before the first regional game, tents already popping up for Hog Pen

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Well, Arkansas fans are already in NCAA Tournament mode. If nothing else is guaranteed, they will be out in full force next week ... and they won't even get the official word on the whole thing until after conference games are finished this week.

Good luck to other teams on getting tickets, because Razorback fans started camping out down Razorback Road for tickets in the outfield Hogpen before anybody even knows any of the details. That won't be determined until the selections, which will be announced Monday.

Obviously, that's when tickets will go on sale. Technically, it's a little hard to sell for tickets something that's not even officially announced yet. It won't be any sort of surprise. The Hogs have 42 wins and at least one more game on Saturday in the SEC Tournament on Saturday and likely have a resume good enough to play at Baum-Walker Stadium through a Super Regional.

For anyone who doesn't know, the Hogpen in the outfield is sorta organized chaos, although I'm not a regular visitor out there to know exactly what that organizational structure is.

There's probably some way for the teams' fans coming to the Fayetteville Regional to purchase tickets. It's the age of online ticket purchases, so this can all be done electronically nearly exactly when it's announced.

Opponents won't be in the Hogpen, though. Those tickets will be devoured as fast as the line moves when it starts going forward. The best picture, though, will be the mad dash to grab favorite spots as soon as the gates open.
