Four-star CB Jayden Lewis decommits from Auburn Tigers
The Tigers have lost another commitment.
Jayden Lewis, a four-star cornerback in the 2024 recruiting class, has decommitted from Auburn, according to his social media.
"I wanna say thank you to Coach Freeze, Coach E, and Coach Crime for the opportunity!" Lewis said on Twitter.
Lewis is the No. 345 overall prospect, the No. 31 cornerback and the No. 19 player in the state of Alabama according to On3's industry rankings. The 5-foot-10, 165-pound corner held offers from Auburn, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Florida State, South Carolina, Penn State, Arkansas, Kentucky, UCF, Mississippi State, Missouri, Vanderbilt, Maryland, Louisville, Colorado, Georgia, Florida, Alabama and LSU, among others.
Jalewis Solomon, another four-star cornerback that was committed to Auburn, also recently decommitted from the Tigers and flipped to South Carolina.
“It came down to me making a decision pretty early,” Solomon said about his decommitment. “I rushed it and I just wasn’t ready when I committed. I have been thinking about this for a while and I just have to take some time and do what is best for myself. Auburn did nothing wrong, but I just had a change of heart.”
