WATCH: Nate LaRue smashes a three-run homer to give Auburn the lead
Auburn took a 4-1 lead over Ole Miss after Nate LaRue sent a three-run homer over the right-center wall.
LaRue started the season cold at the plate but has heated up quickly, leading to some long balls.
If LaRue can continue this heater, it will be a massive boost for this already deadly lineup.
This homer off the bat of the Tiger catcher came with Kason Howell and Caden Green on base giving the Tigers an early lead over Ole Miss.
Earlier in the inning, a Howell double scored Ike Irish, tying the game at one run a piece. Then, of course, LaRue's bomb gave Auburn the lead.
Now the Tigers will look to extend this lead to take some pressure off the pitching staff.
Let's take a look at LaRue's homer and Howell's RBI double.
