Auburn basketball falls outside of AP Top 25 for the first time in two seasons
For the first time since the 2020-21 season, Auburn basketball has fallen outside of the AP top 25.
The Tigers rode a 32-week streak into Saturday afternoon before losing in heartbreaking fashion to then-No. 2 Tennessee 46-43 on the road. Auburn received 65 votes, technically placing them at No. 28 in the poll behind Florida Atlantic and Duke.
There are now only two SEC teams ranked inside the poll, with No. 3 Alabama and No. 6 Tennessee holding things down for the league.
Auburn travels to face Texas A&M this Tuesday before returning to take on the Crimson Tide this weekend in front of ESPN's College Gameday.
